京都の廃校となった小学校のグランドの将来的な提案。グランドというオープンスペースとしての機能を保持しながら、その外縁に大きな屋根をかけることで、強すぎない京都的な領域の作り方で景観を保全するという提案を行った。地元の林業でもある京都北山杉を使った屋根を用いている。木は時間と共に色褪せ、時間を刻むデザインとしている。
